1966 Topps compaired to 1966 OPC
 

I know the 66 Topps have 2 different types of card stock. One has a white back and the other has a darker more vintage look.

I do not have any 1966 OPC to compare card stock to the 66 Topps.

Does anyone know if the card stock of the OPC cards are the same or different than the Topps cards? Thank you for any help!

Hi Ben,
The 66 OPC card stock feels the same to me as a regular 66 Topps card. The back has a slightly duller "tint" to it though. You can see the difference between the backs of all 3.

I am hoping to buy the 1966 Topps(?) blank back strips being sold on here and could not find any info on 66 Topps blank backs. I did find several 66 OPC blank back cards listed on eBay and if I do get them I wanted to be able to figure out what they are.

Well, tomm night I will take it out of the frame, its just a art store snap together jobbie, not any issue. from memory, the middle one looks closest to the back color of mine.

Not to go too far off topic but did topps use the different stock on each card or just certain cards?
