ROGER MARIS 1957 ROOKIE AUTOGRAPH Album page removed from a date specific 1957 Autograph book , The book was purchased from Premier Auctions in 2012 and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from them and from Jim Stinson Sports. In 1957 A young Maris was then playing in his first major league season for Cleveland. Page is also signed by team mate Ken Kuhn but is well away from the Maris signature on the page which could be displayed seperately. The reverse is signed by Rocky Colavito, Bob Avila & Dick Williams. Maris would eventually become a seven time all star and twice winner of the "Most Valuable Player" Award in 1960 and 1961 while playing for the Yankees. His record breaking 61 home runs in 1961 was to become one of the most coveted records in sports history. He died in 1985. $450.00 ppd
