Two for me as well.

T206 Willis Batting SGC 20
T206 Maddox SGC 20

I thought that the selling prices were a little lower than what I expected to pay based on recent auctions.

Lee,

Once again, another very well run auction!!

Two Cards - One Question

Who are the two dudes on the Close Play at Second?
First correct PM wins absolutely nothing.
I would just like to know. Thanks. :D

peterose4hof 07-26-2013 08:18 AM

Added these two to my Reds Collection :)

Anxious to see the Kluszewski in person because it looks nice for a 5.

I know the Young that was trimmed all over the place was....well, trimmed. But thought the sale price went much lower than I thought it would. It's still a Young.

I think it's a good pickup for whoever got it, I threw in a couple bids and then backed off because I have a nice one.

Rich Klein 07-26-2013 11:12 AM

won 5 pre-56 bulk lots. 3 of those five were significantly below my high bid

Too bad I need to wait to see if we'll have those monthly Dallas shows again

Otherwise, after the National, come on over (If I know you) and we'll wheel and deal from my house

You got a great deal on that card Sean! I was really thinking about jumping in on it, but I'm trying to force myself to stay focused on the T206 set.

Not sure I have seen this color on an E102 Dougherty before but maybe I missed it?

peterose4hof 07-26-2013 01:24 PM

I thought the prices were low on a bunch of items. Maybe everyone's saving their money for the National.

MVSNYC 07-26-2013 04:24 PM

As mentioned in the July pick up thread, i got the T206 orange Elberfeld, and T206 Chase dark cap...BTW, using paypal for paying an auction house rocks...BUT, could get expensive fast. :)

tbob 07-26-2013 08:05 PM

Didn't do as well as usual in this great auction but I managed to snag the E96 Rossman, although a night owl outbid me on the E96 Donovan :-(

Clydewally 07-27-2013 08:50 PM

I got the E94 George Close Candy Mcgraw. It looks fairly beat up, but is my first E94.
I think it may originally have been offered for sale here through Simas.

MVSNYC 07-27-2013 09:08 PM

Great looking Mantle. i had my eye on that, glad you won it.

Rich Klein 07-28-2013 10:25 AM

Lee is great

I asked him if possible to bring my winnings to the National and I would pay him there. He said, may not be possible if they do not fit on the carry-on BUT said as long I pay him at the show since we are both trying to prvent shipping I could deduct the minimal (and I say minimal) shipping charge

bigred1 07-28-2013 10:32 AM

SMPEP 07-28-2013 11:56 AM

Went cheaper than I expected too.

Cheers,
