Fake Joe Jackson on Ebay

Not many fake strip cards out there, but saw this one day auction for this 1919-21 w514 Shoeless Joe Jackson. Just terrible. EDIT: Buyer has removed "Vintage" from description.

I still see the word "vintage" in the description.

Yes, terrible! :(

Yes, in regard to whether or not it is original he says "unknown" , but he also calls it vintage.

How about this?????

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sporting-Lif...-/330960247748

A counterfeit with 10 bids for $76! Although he does say twice that it is new, and it has 2013 on the back.

Idjits.

I think he gives enough warning that the card is modern, not vintage. If after reading that someone wants to bid more than 85 cents then they deserve what they get.

It isn't a counterfeit. The sporting life cards are part of a new fad, like Helmar cards, of creating fantasy pieces and selling them to LOOK vintage not to be reprints of vintage. I think they look neat, but not worth the money to me. I also don't agree that they sell them in the PreWWII of ebay, but they aren't counterfeits.

What does that have to do with anything? You called them counterfeit. They aren't by definition.
