PSA fixing mistakes
I just bought a card off of eBay. Its an oddball Mantle, that PSA mis-graded (listed as a 1964 rather than the rarer 1965). Anyone know if there is any recourse from PSA?

If you contact customer service with a scan of the card they might offer to reholder it. I don't have any personal experience with it but you will probably have to pay for shipping both ways.

Oh, okay. Thanks. If they wouldn't pay for the shipping, probably not worth it. Appreciate the insight though.

Could it have been cracked out and the wrong card put in it's place? Got a scan?

Challenge the Yankees?

If you originally subbed the card, they will fix their mistake gratis. As you bought it that way, they will only re-holder for $5 + shipping both ways is on you. I've got four I need to re-holder for cracked slab and a wrong flip, but their return shipping charge makes it a no-go. :(

It is a shame they won't stand behind their product. As you can see from the scan below, the card isn't exactly in the best condition. So, at the end of the day, it probably isn't worth reholdering (at my expense).

Ok, now that I see what you are talking about I take back my comment about might it have been cracked out. PSA would fix it, but I wouldn't even bother if it was my card.

I'm a little confused on this one . Why does it say copyright 2012 (707 Sportscards ) if its from the 1960 's ? Brett

Give it a try anyway, maybe PSA will fix some of that wear. ;)

Just wait until you have a self-submitted mechanical error to submit it with and then send them both in at the same time. PSA will give you a voucher for your shipping to them and eat shipping back to you.
