1859 college baseball-plain dress collection
Earlier this year I posted a thread about the collection from Williams College which was a signed picture album containing (5) players that participated in what has been documented as the first Intercollegiate baseball game ever played. It featured Williams College and Amherst College a Muscle and Mind Competition. Baseball and Chess. The first thread titled "1859 college baseball-plain dress" is still available for viewing and features the photos and all the information.
I wanted to let all those know that this collection was picked up by Heritage Auction and will be sold in the Platinum Night Sports Auction in Chicago as a featured item in the live auction August 1-2. You can view this auction now at Heritage if you go to this featured auction. A special thanks to Leon for getting this item out and a special thanks to Net54Baseball.com for everything they did to get exposure on this Collection. thanks so much Leon, Kevin |

I knew that Heritage and Net54baseball had a great affiliation but did not realize it was to this degree. That is fantastic. I hope the collection does well but we shall see. Just having something that is top drawer is fun in itself.
Thanks, ' Kevin |
