Real Negro League Era Photo on Ebay Id Help
 

I seem to have actually found an actual vintage negro league era team photo on ebay. The condition is terrible but it looks and feels right and at 20 bucks there is no way the seller went to the trouble of aging a modern print. The photo comes from an estate in southern Il. I cant seemed to get a blow up of the logo but it seems to look like a very fancy "A". Has anyone ever seen a similar logo or have any Id thoughts -- an no I do not think that its Josh Gibson 3rd from the left

You should contact the Negro League museum in Kansas City and see if they can offer any help.

I thought of the Chicago American giants possibility but

1. I am not that lucky
2. There is clearly no Rube Foster which would mean it would have to be late 20's and I cannot find a uniform match from that period-- in fact I cannot seem to find any uniform image where Chicago is not on the front of the Jersey
