The Lone Ranger

The best parts were the 'William Tell Overture' and the 'Wolverine' preview.

I hope that all the people who think my opinions are worthless will use this as a negative barometer, and go inflict three hours of pain on themselves.

I loved the inside jokes - no one ever knew and some still don't know that when tonto called him kemo sabe, (thought to be a nice word) was actually "quien no sabe" meaning he who dosnt know, OR just "Stupid"

Got to love the old time writers

Quote:

There are many theories about the origin and meaning of this word. A common story is that it derives from a Spanish phrase such as "Quien sabe" or "quien no sabe," meaning "who knows?" or "he who does not know". This is implausible for several reasons. While Jim Jewell, director of The Lone Ranger from 1933 to 1939, took the phrase from Kamp Kee-Mo Sah-Bee, a boys' camp on Mullett Lake established by Charles W. Yeager (Jewell's father-in-law) in 1916
Are you sure about it really being "quien no sabe"?

yea just what I have read about and agreed with - not sure how true or not true it is
