WTB: N172 Old Judge "Jerry" Denny

Hello. I am looking for the following two N172 cards to complete my player/pose run:

DENNY, Jeremiah Dennis, "Jerry"

124-2 In jacket, arms at sides New York (NL - 1890) TEAM CHANGE
124-3 Catch, hands cupped chest high Indianapolis (NL)

Please PM me if you have either of these two cards available for sale.

Thank you.

Alan

good luck w/your Denny collection! Unfortunately the only one I have is a variation of a pose you already have ...

In case you are curious, here are all the variations of Denny. So he has both type A & B "0" numbered cards for all three poses. He additionally has some 1888 cards as Fa & Fb, some 1889 Fc and an 1890 Fc (NL). Furthermore, he has small GQ (Es), large GQ (Em), and cabinets (G). If you wanted to collect all variations of his three poses, you'd have 16 cards! I could understand stopping at one of each pose together with the 1890 New York team change (although that will be a tough card).

Denny's pose #2 was issued every year from 1887-1890, not many poses in the set can make that claim.

124-1 Bat at ready at 60 deg
a. Denny, 3d B. Indianapolis (B-0346-A, Es, Em, Fb, G)
b. Denny, 3d Base, Indianapolis (B-0346-B)
c. Denny, 3d B., Indianapolis (Fc)
124-2 In jacket, arms at sides
a. Denny, 3d B. Indianapolis (B-0347-A)
b. Denny, 3d Base, Indianapolis (B-0347-B)
c. Denny, 3d B., Indianapolis (Fc)
d. Jerry Denny, 3rd B., Indianapolis (Fa, G)
e. Denny, 3d B., New Yorks (NL) (Fc)
124-3 Catch, hands cupped chest high
a. Denny, 3d B. Indianapolis (B-0348-A, Es)
b. Denny, 3d Base, Indianapolis (B-0348-B)

I have the Denny NY card, but unfortunately, I'd need to replace it with another NY NL card, since it is the only card I have from that team.

Awesome information! Thank you. Guess this would be the "master" set, lol. I will consider this more of a longterm goal.

z28jd, thanks for your response. I don't have anything else to trade you, but maybe one day, right?

Matthew H, thank you for your response. I spoke with Jay a couple of times. He has been a tremendous help, and he has been incredibly patient with me. I inquired about the Denny, and while his asking price was more than reasonable, it was a little more than I could afford at the moment. Again, maybe one day...

It really is good to know where a couple of them currently are, in the event I come into some extra spending money/have another NY NL card fall into my lap.
