1954 Topps
Hey Fellas, I am going to be looking to sell some '54 Topps baseball cards. I have the Mays #90 SGC 6.5, Williams #1 PSA 5.5, a couple of other graded stars, about 7 or 8 graded commons (5-6 range), and 30 raw commons. These raw ones are pretty nice, generally EX-EXMT. Anyway, I know this isn't the place to sell. I know I have only posted here a few times, and you all don't really know me. Other than buying some '57 commons from one Net54 person, I haven't done business with any of you. I am not a dealer. I am just a collector who is looking to sell and would love to avoid eBay/Paypal fees. I would like to sell to a fellow collector who loves these cards as much as I do.
I guess, based on this, do you guys think I would be wasting my time trying to sell on Net54 and should just go to eBay? My eBay user name is rgc26. Let me know what you think, you won't hurt my feelings. Thanks. |
I don't think you are new enough around here to have issues. Anyway, it really cannot hurt to try selling here first. Worst case, you move them to eBay if they don't sell.

You could always put it up on the BST and see what happens. The worst thing would be a delay to put them on ebay. Good Luck!

Net54
Net54 has many quality buyers but slightly more limited on postwar stuff. Can't hurt to post a price/scans here and if you get no bites eBay would have a wider audience for such a sale.

I agree with above...and when I assembled my 54 set I bought a few off the B/S/T. I check it daily, and heck, bought off it today. Great sellers and buyers here...

Totally agree..put up some pics so we can take a look.
I sell on Ebay..and hate those fees too. I try to give our community a shot at them and offer a 10% discount or something using paypal gift. |
Thanks for your replies. I decided to give it a go. I have listed 5 graded 1954 Topps star cards on 1950-1979 B/S/T.
