I think those were auto penned in response to people mailing away for his signature.

I was thinking the same, almost too perfect?

I am virtually 100% sure that both are autopen.

There was an article in the SCD back in the early 1990's that covered Ryan's extensive use of an autopen on the card on the left, BTW.
