Jackie Robinson Signed baseball . Help needed please
 

I was contacted by a couple that won this at a church raffle in the late 70's early 80's. They were wondering if it was real and if they should get it authenticated.. I don't deal autos, but I do have an opinion. Picture stinks but I didnt take it sorry. Any and all opinions welcome.

Hard to say based on the photo...signature looks almost too good (the "s" might be slightly off). Based on what I know of Jackie rarely signing on the sweet spot, I would be skeptical...just my two cents.

EVERYTHING about the sig is wayyyyy too perfect to be real!

Compare the R in the last name Robinson to examples of his autograph you will see that the end of his R is always made with a right downward stroke after the loop in the R.

(not an expert but this looks obvious even in blurry scan)
