EDDIE COLLINS RARE FULL PAGE HANDWRITTEN LETTER dated November 7th, 1932 and written on his personal letterhead measures 8 1/2 x 11. Outstanding personal content. Signed at conclusion with his FULL name. Collins signature appears often on documents and occasionally on typed letters usually associated with his tenure as Boston Executive. Full page handwritten letters by Collins are EXTREMELY rare ! Considered to be one of the greatest second baseman in baseball history he was instrumental in early Athletics dynasty teams when he played for them 1906-1914 and later 1927-1930. Played for the Chicago White Sox 1915-1926 including the infamous 1919 White Sox. This autographed letter comes complete with a formal letter of authenticity from JSA and another from Jim Stinson Sports. Collins was one of the original inductees into the baseball Hall of Fame in 1939. He died in 1951. $1,500.00
