John the only one I know is the Dayton Lions which I believe is the Dayton Dragons now.

1936-43 Danville-Schoolfield (VA) Leafs
1945-58 Danville (VA) Leafs
1899 Derby (CT) Lushers

Also, DeLand (FL) fielded teams as early as the 1930's.

Not the time period or locale you are looking for, but these were the only D-L combinations I could come up with. That doesn't include any of the thousands of town ball or industrial teams that might have existed though. Might help more if we could see the uniform you are referring to.

(Wish I had photos of any of these for you to compare to, but those are all still gaps in my woefully-neglected minor league uniform reference file).
