Very nice Greg!

I love your framing choices.
It looks spectacular.
It would look great in Kreindlercolor.

Wow. I remember when you got that and the interesting discussion on the year. WOW. Great choice on framing style Greg. It looks amazing. peter

mr2686 06-09-2013 09:16 PM

Everything about that is awesome. Well done!

Lordstan 06-09-2013 09:40 PM

Greg,
What size is the whole frame?
Also is the mat a fabric, like velour or something similar?
Looks really great!
Mark

Mark, I'll have to double check the size when I get home, but the matte is a maroonish hand wrapped silk. Looks gorgeous in person.

Greg,

Spectacular photo and frame!!! Great job!! One question: Is there glass in front of the photo? And, if not, why? Relatively new to matting, framing, etc. and always interested to know the best ways to preserve the objects being framed.

Thanks.

Craig

Craig,

Hard to tell but yes, there is glass. It is Museum UV3 glass, so transparent that even up close you can't tell it is present. Expensive but worth it!!

Greg,
I just keep coming back to this picture.
It's really just great.
It's funny, because as wonderful as this looks I don't think I would've thought to go with that color mat. I think I would've been worried the color would overpower the picture. Obviously it doesn't.
Congrats.
