Identify the person on the pin

This pin is listed on ebay and identified as Connie Mack. I have my doubts but am not sure who it is. Any ideas?

Hi Mike,
Have seen this pin around a bit and isnot Connie Mack. I dont know what the reference to pennant day is but I believe someone put this pin up for sale years ago and said it was Connie and now everyone who gets one uses the same sales pitch to sell it. Mack was born in 1862 and even a young Connie doesnt look like him.
