How Many HOF'ers Fit on a Card??
1 Attachment(s)
Okay, someone posted a 1972 Cubs team card and it got me thinking. What single cards since the beginning of the Topps era until, say, 1973 have the most Hall of Famers pictured on them?
These are just ebay pics (not mine), but so far I got 5 on the aforementioned '72 Cubs team plus a 1963 League Leaders card. Anybody got anything that equals this tally or, dare I say, surpasses it?? Attachment 102049 |
lots of stars
How about that 1962 T Mgrs Dream of Mantle and Mays..and in the backround I think you see Aaron,Banks, there is another player in the shot also..might by a coach , from a distance it looks like he is wearing a hair piece

not post-war, but...

not post-war (and ugly as heck), but I do have 9 HOFers on this card from 1925, which includes H. Wilson, R. Youngs, F. Frisch, H. Jennings, G. Kelly, B. Southworth, T. Jackson, B. Terry, & F. Lindstrom.
>> Amazingly, they were all on the same team!!!! The next one is not mine, but there are 10 HOFers on it...and again, it's not post-war, but I think it's a cool card: |
I would imagine that the '68 Cardinals team picture would show 6 HOFers: Brock, Maris, Cepeda, Gibson, Carlton and Schoendienst

Good point--wishful thinking. So there's 5. And some of the mid 60's Giants would have 5: Mays, McCovey, Marichal, Perry and Cepeda
