wow, what a well-written article! I think its obvious that Montaous isn't 100% living in reality and he has a problem. Heartbreaking because he has so much energy that he could be putting to good use instead of lies. We all dream of being ballplayers, but when it doesn't happen we realize it and move on. Hopefully he can pull himself together.

Fantastic read. Wish I could say he was a unique case, but the world is full of these guys. Seems to be quite a few in the boxing game to. Delusion mixed with compulsive lying, is an awful curse. Not only for people like Montaus, but for the people around them also.
