OT: Loss of a great friend

Got a call from one of a friends wife informing me that he passed away this morning. He got home from work at 6:00am and spent some time with his daughter and wife and then went to bed around 8:30am. He wife went in around 11:00am to put some laundry away and notice something wasn't right. She called 911 and tried to revive him but it was to late.He passed away at age 27. He leaves behind a wife and a beautiful 2 year old daughter.

We met in college 8 years ago and though we moved to different areas of the state we kept in touch. We both got married around the same time and both had daughters around the same time as well. We had all these plans to do fun things with our families in the future but now the future will be very different. My heart aches mostly for his daughter, who will now only have photos and memories of her daddy.

So as you end your evenings tonight please say a prayer for the Glasgow family as they go through this difficult and trying time.

Thanks,

Matt

Very sad and scary as well. Prayers go out to the family.

Was your friend in good health as far as you knew prior to today? That's the scariest part is when things like this happen out of the blue, with no known health problems. It could be any of us, many of whom are a similar age with small children as well.

He was in great shape. He was a police officer so he worked out almost every day. He was feeling fine so his health was good. We had just talked Monday about spending Father's Day with our daughters and what we would be doing. Things like this make no sense at all.

Prayer's will come in abundance from the Walsh Clan...
This is all to familiar to me, please let the Glasgow's know that many of your friends are Praying for them!

We were both 22 years of age, when I lost my Best Friend & Cousin in a motorcycle accident. 30+ years later I still feel the loss and will always miss him. He had a Brilliant jump shot.
