Presented here is a "rare" 1964 Topps Salesman Sample Panel with #50 Mickey Mantle on the back with Gus Triandos on the front. This spectacular card was once part of a 3-card Topps Salesman sample.
If you compare the back of this Mantle to the back of a regular 1964 Topps #50 Mickey Mantle card back, you’ll notice a striking difference: The back of his Salesman panel features a deep rich orange color, versus the lighter/paler orange on the back of his regular Topps issue.

It’s in the biography. The first card mentions Mantle’s (then) 15 World Series homers, “breaking a mark set by Babe Ruth.” The second one stops at the reference to the homers. No Ruth.a

The only known sale i have recorded was a BIN 995.00 and its Best Offer sold

Chris I would suggest a much better scan, this one is almost microscopic.
