was thinking about bidding on an item with a coa from fan fair inc. Was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this place? It doesnt mention where they are from other then a number with a 631 (new york?) area code?

What is the item and can we see the coa?

There used to be a Fan Fair brick and mortar shop back in the early 1990's that went belly up. They used to host athletes for free signings to drive traffic into the store-- that model apparently didn't work. Not sure if it is the same or not.

631 is the area code for Suffolk County, Long Island. All of Long Island was 516 until it was split between the 2 non-NYC counties on the island sometime in the 80's or 90's. A while ago. Nassau County is now 516 by itself.

Of course, there may be some 'grandfathered' numbers involved and other nuances to these specific facts, but as a rule of thumb, 631 is Suffolk.
