Thoughts on this Mantle
 

I know he wrote his Ms differently early in his career - my gut says that it's fake based on the lengthy write-up, but I will defer to you all, as you definitely know a lot more about autos than I do.

Hmm. I think they look good, but not positive enough to be sure.

I don't think either are blatant forgeries. Might be a couple of inconsistencies in the "Mantle" but I'd definitely lean towards good.

The Jackie looks OK to me, "Best Wishes" was a common salutation he used. Might want to compare to any noted "The Brow" clubhouse signatures though as this was probably obtained through the mail. I don't have any of those to compare to.

I think they are both good. The mantle pic is from the April 1953 issue of Sport magazine. The Robinson is also from Sport but I'm not sure which issue.
