Any ideas of where to search?

I'm still searching for an autograph of Frederick Bushnell "Jack" Ryder, the beat writer from the Cincinnati Enquirer covering the Reds from 1905-1935. 30 years covering the Reds, certainly you'd have to think a signature is out there. He obviously covered the 1919 World Series, and his columns were treated like the bible when it came to following Reds baseball. Any ideas of where to search to find an autograph of his? Any and all help is appreciated!

Thanks!
Matt

It's a long shot but RRAuction just sold a 20,000+ piece autograph lot dating back a hundred years or more covering theater, politicians, writers, sports, etc. Perhaps they could put you in touch with the buyer. With luck, the collection is in some kind of order so searching for a particular person wouldn't be that difficult.

Thanks John, can you please provide a link to the lot? I tried to do "lot" and "autograph" in the Advanced Search: Past Auctions and was unsuccessful. Thanks!

Found the lot, and have wrote Stacey for assistance. Thx! Anybody else have any other ideas because that one seems like a very long shot.

A longer shot may be anything from the 1892-95 & 1898 Ohio State Football teams, Frederick Bushnell "Jack" Ryder head coach. Best of luck.

That's the reason I am looking for it, I collect Ohio State coaches :)
