I don't know exact year of distribution, but have had both items about 20 years.

Up for auction "Babe Ruth Pocket Knive and Coin"

Pocket Knive is 2 1/2" long when closed, 4 1/4" when opened
Has baseball attached with chain.
Inscribed " Babe Ruth 1927, 60 Home Runs, Souvenir New York Yankees"

Gold colored coin, 1 5/8" across the coin,
Babe Ruth Bust on 1 side, Inscribed
"Greatest Player of All Time" George Herman "Babe Ruth".

On side 2 "Sports Coins Incorporated". Football, Glove, Basketball and Tennis Rackets pictured.
