This is from 6 years ago....bad then....bad now.

the pawn stars gehrig was from a few years ago. same arkansas story, same authenticators. babe ruth signing the front of the jersey like that and this guy believes it.

I think I just threw-up in my mouth after reading this story.

it just wasnt a practice to sign jerseys back then, but people want to believe.

That is why this hobby is full of scammers, people want to believe and they make it so easy to get scammed.

Does anyone plan on contacting the guy to tell him that it's a fake or is the consensus that this guy knows it's a fake and is going to sell it any way? I would call him if I knew anything about autographs. Sadly (or perhaps luckily) I'm a broke novice trying to win a 1988 Braves team-signed ball being offered by Jim Stinson for less than 30.00!;)

He was contacted back when this story was new, but never responded. I seriously doubt he still has the jersey after 6 years.

Maybe he sold it to the bottom feeders on Hardcore Pawn. :D
