SOLD 1908 Brush Automobile Ty Cobb PC
 

Very rare early Cobb postcard; just three graded by SGC. This one, postally used, has a wonderful front and some nice baseball content written on the back. One of the rarest Cobb postcards in existence; as rare as the Detroit Free Press and American League Publishing Co. Cobbs. Would be graded much higher than a 20 if not for the writing on the back. Are there tears in Cobb's suit jacket and pants or is that the picture?:confused:.

Considering the postcards were made to be sent through the mail, its a shame the grade has been reduced because of this.
To me, it should be worth a premium since it was mailed when the postcard initially came out. Its 1908 postmark & baseball content make this a keeper.
