T206 Origins - Dots Miller by John Dreker

I finally got around to adding this to my website - left-click on the Dots Miller card image on the left, and you will see John's Miller bio and the original photograph used as the basis for the card litho.

I don't post new threads each time one of these is added, but I haven't done one in quite a while, so this is also an 'input solicitation' thread.

Primarily looking for stories about the cards themselves, but bios are good and the photos can tell a story themselves.

Thanks John!

Thanks Scott. The t206ers may know, but I was wondering what reason the lithographer had for adorning Dots in those vibrant and pronounced striped shirt sleeves?

Looks good Scott. If you have any other Pirates players lacking bios, I have articles on a lot of them

Todd, there are a lot of strange differences in the T213 lithos that are difficult to explain. I'm almost ready to share a few I've been working on, but have a cat I'm not quite ready to let out of the bag.

Hey Scott and John, thanks for sharing this; it's very interesting stuff and I can't seem to get enough it.

Keep 'em comin, good work.

Craig
