SOLD: T200 Fatima Cleveland Americans
2 Attachment(s)
This is another card from a collection I'm selling that was tucked away for the past 30-40 years by an old-school collector who cared little to nothing about third-party grading, Internet chat boards and/or set registries.
For an issue whose cards are prone to condition problems, this example looks pretty nice. Biggest flaw is a corner crease in the upper-left, which actually blends into the background when you're looking at the card in-hand. The clarity of the photo is above average for T200 team cards. Also, the edges have for the most part been spared the chipping often seen on these cards. It should go without saying, but given the level of quality of recent posts on the main board, I'll say it anyway: This card pictures Hall of Famer Nap Lajoie and non-Hall of Famer Joe Jackson. Price is $xxx delivered within the United States. Check or money order preferred; PayPal is OK. A commitment to buy takes precedence over an ongoing negotiation. Feel free to email any questions. Thanks, Rob wolfie51sb at aol.com |
You forgot Larry the terrier.

Is there a big following for T200 cards?

Not sure, but Larry had a huge following around the American League. From the estate of Jack Graney, Cleveland outfielder who was Larry's owner and trainer:

No better way for your average collector to get a contemporary "Shoeless Joe" than this card. Much better IMO than the cartoonish strip cards and infinitely more affordable than a T210 or E90-1. Great card.

You really should have posted this T200 in the pickup thread prior to listing it. Proper etiquette please, Rob.
Good luck with the sale! Killer Graney piece! Best, Andy |
Thanks, Andy.
I've debated about having it reframed, mainly because the mat is stained. But there's something about leaving it in its original state. |
How much do you have into this?
