Pretty sure my Joe Dimaggio ball is fake...
 

So this ball was a birthday present from my parents about 20 years ago. It has been sitting on my shelf for the past 2 decades and I haven't really paid much attention to it...until today. I realized I never remembered seeing a COA with the ball and I had never actually gone online to compare it to other Joe Dimaggio signatures.

So after taking a look at mine and comparing it to those online I have to say that it really does not resemble a legit Joe Dimaggio signature at all, not even close.

What do you guys think? Is it a fake like I suspected? Should I be asking my parents for a proper 10th birthday present haha?http://i.imgur.com/qDOMFp8.jpg

Buy a real one and pretend they got you that and dont tell them. :)

Keep it. You did not care for twenty years why worry now? Your the only one that has any idea its bad and they will notice the difference, I promise you that.:)

Haha not a big deal....obviously I'd rather it have been real just because I'm a big Yankees fan but it's not like I'd have ever sold the thing. I guess it's a bit of a let down though as it kind of bugs me that someone ripped off my father.

Ah well.

Sadly, this statement will be repeated 20, 30, 40 years from now by countless others.
