What is a fair price on a centered 1955 Bowman Mickey Mantle graded by BVG as a 4? ? Do people even collect BVG for post war cards like Mantle. |
|
I collect Mantle and do have several slabbed BVG, even my 51 Bowman. But i do not have a 55 Bowman...as i been on other treasure finds. |

I recently paid $400 for this one so i would think a bvg 4 should be about 1/2 of that $200 unless you got to have it right now in which case there is only one available on ebay BIN $ 265 http://i1188.photobucket.com/albums/...ps547125b8.jpg |

Sorry for the follow-up question. Are these all of the sales on eBay for BVG 4 '55 Bowman Mickey Mantle cards over the past five years? If so, this card seems like a bargain, in my humble opinion. I look forward to your reply. Best Regards, Eric |

I'm assuming those prices are from VCP? |

I think the 55 bowman set in general is very underrated. This is a very early Mantle. You also have fantastic Banks and Aaron cards in this set that fly below the radar. |
