You outed the auction! Now my $2,000 snipe is in question......

ullmandds 04-01-2013 02:59 PM

Got me on that one...maybe the T206 lunatic fringe can comment?!

AMBST95 04-01-2013 03:01 PM

That's ridiculous. Got to be an April fools by the seller or someone who knows them

T206Collector 04-01-2013 03:03 PM

A guy wanted a card and put in a ridiculously high ceiling that another guy is eating into for kicks.

frankbmd 04-01-2013 03:15 PM

It does make the Willetts card at $27.50 seem like a bargain.

Finally, a reason for everyone to stop collecting T206's, the cost is prohibitive. It would take millions to complete the set (minus the Wagner) at that rate...........

One bidder placing 22 bids in a 3 minute span, totaling over $300.00. You can draw your own conclusion.

Wow is right, but it happens. Several months ago I put up ten T206 beaters. Choice of any three of them. Crazy bidding war wound up at $237. I was hoping for $40. I felt guilty taking the money, but I took it! :D

That's the one click bid option

But it has a printing plate mark and a rare tobacco stain! ;)

The picture is very deceptive. The bidders must think that they are getting BOTH PSA 2's for $455.00. That would be reasonable at $227.50 a piece, but $455.00 for one card. Ridiculous!!:D

$227.50 is reasonable for a T206 common in PSA2? That seems high to me.

Phil, I quit collecting them after your 18th anti-T206 post I figured if they were causing you so much frustration, I would do what I could to help calm your nerves :)

I'm now collecting E107's. Only have one so far, but I expect to have 2-3 by 2020.

(Scott <== lying on all counts)
