1951 Bowman Willie Mays RC SGC 50 VG/EX 4

I am selling a very nice Willie Mays RC SGC 50 VG/EX 4. The card is only graded a 4 because of print lines, otherwise would most likely grade a 6 with great centering and vibrant colors. No typical gum staining on the back. If interested hit me up with a PM and price. I will send scans to you if your price is somewhat in the range what I am looking to get.

Do you see nothing wrong with expecting someone to make you a 'strong' offer before you even give them scans? Who/what are you trying to eliminate by refusing photos to interested parties?

Why would anyone make an offer without seeing a picture first?

He's new to posting/selling here.

Well just to clarify that I will reply to PMs for people that are interested. I do not post scans of my cards on the boards but will gladly email pictures of them. However, I do not waste my time with clowns with ridiculous offers. So ie, if you are looking to pay $500 for a $1000+ card then don't bother. Hopefully I am clear with the intentions. Thanks.

Maybe then you should say to PM you with their e-mail if interested in seeing the scans. Why would someone offer you a price unseen? What if they made a strong offer and then upon seeing the scans thought the card was a weak 4 and then decided they wouldn't pay that much for it. Would they be a clown then?

I've been here awhile, there are very few clowns IMO.

Welcome to the board.

Good luck with your card.

It's free to upload your picture, and it is far more efficient than emailing pictures to each person that inquires.

Posting scans of your card is not going to lead to clowns putting up ridiculous offers. Instead, it will probably get you more serious buyers.

Clowns

I'm a clown and I am hurt by that remark.

This is the point I was trying to make, you really need to provide interested parties with scans BEFORE the offer so the buyer can offer top dollar knowing the card looks high end for the grade. I understand you don't want to publicly post scans, I was strictly pointing out wanting the offer before scans.

Edit because a line was double-typed.

Just to clarify I wasn't calling anyone a clown here, I am referring to low ballers on ebay. Anyway thanks for the photobucket suggestion. Here is a picture of the card.
