1956 Topps Set Possibly for Sale

7 Attachment(s)
I just completed my 1956 Topps set and I'm considering selling it if the price is right. It is mostly raw Ex/Ex+ condition, with the major stars SGC graded.

I am also currently working on another '56 Topps set, all SGC graded 84 or better and, if the price is right, would sell my raw set to fund the graded set.

Please don't mistake my desire to sell the set for my need to sell the set. That is certainly not the case and I'm not going to give it away. However, I will sell it for a fair price.

I looked on eBay at completed listing and found this...
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Complete-Set...item3a7e2e0f64

The condition seems to be about the same as mine, but the one on eBay is missing the 2/4 checklist and mine includes the 2/4 checklist. The one on eBay is all raw, but my major stars are graded so there won't be any surprises like hidden creases, trimming, erasure marks, etc. The one on eBay went for $3800, so I would need to get at least that at a minimum.

Many of the other HOFers in my set were graded as well, but I cracked them out to enjoy them raw. I saved the flips and will include them with the set.

Here are some of the graded stars...

Here's some of the stars before they were cracked...

Keep in mind, they are NOW RAW (don't want any confustion)

Also, saved all the flips. There were more than this, but you can get the idea.

I thought mine was a steal at $3800 compared to the one that sold on eBay for the same amount. No?

Dave, from what I could see, yours seems to be better than the one that sold on ebay.
I was thinking of starting a 1956 set but my financial situation at this time doesn't allow me to do it now.
Someone is going to be real happy.

Thanks for the kind words, Rich. A lot of complete sets that you see for sale vary in condition from Poor to NM, with everything in between. No this one. It is very consistent Ex/Ex+ throughout. No upgrading needed. It will be a good buy for somebody.
