OT: NCAA March Madness Tourney!?
Lately, I barely have enough time to browse the board...
But in the past, someone would of mentioned the "NCAA Madness Tourney" by now! Is any one else as curious as I am about having the Tournament this year? I'd love to be in it... I just don't have the time to set it up! |
Go Hoosiers!
|
I hope someone will step up and create the Net 54 NCAA BB challenge.
|
Me too!

I tried to create a Net 54 Group on ESPN and make it open to everyone here, etc. but my computer savViness (or total lack thereof) didn't allow me to figure it out. Could someone else please try???

I might be in the minority, but basketball is one sport I can do without ever seeing again. The sport as a whole does nothing for me. Can't stand it on the college level and hate it even more at the NBA level with it's wanna be thug players and culture.
|
Thanks Mike--I signed up to play.
|
I forgot who won last yr, but hoping the Chase Trophy card is still available to the winner this year?

I still find college basketball to be quite enjoyable, especially at the small conference level. The NBA is unwatchable though.
|
As a Louisville fan, I'm enjoying it a lot....especially this year. Hoping my guys keep it going for 6 more games.....GO CARDS....

As a Nebraska fan I hardly know what a basketball looks like.
|
Hope everybody that wanted to play got in. I couldn't access the site for the last 1/2 hour--- last minute overload I would guess!
|
GO ILLINI! WE can beat anyone in this tournament but we could also lose to anyone. We've proven that this year!

And we're off!
34 Entrants in total. I hope you all finish tied for second! |
Way to go Shockers!!! Although its sad to see a once baseball powerhouse turn into a basketball school.
|
Mike---or anyone---
When I go to the website & try to look at my bracket sheet, it's blank (like it was never filled out) but on the composite my totals show along w/ everyone else.
How/what do I do to see my bracket sheet so I can see what games I missed on? |
When Arkansas and Kentucky were powerhouses the SEC was a great league. Lately Arkansas has been mediocre at best and Kentucky losing to Robert Morris in the 1st round of the NIT shows how this once great conference has fallen. Even new addition Missouri is getting wrecked by Colorado State. Other than Florida the SEC was putrid this year. Thank God for football, baseball and track. (NCAA champs Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas).

The Illini put up a victory, despite getting only three buckets in the 2nd half...ILL! INI!

Well with my oldest son in Duke Medical School I have to say Duke all the way!;) Thats him (he goes to most of the games) claping his hands just above the ball!! Gotta love it! And coach K!!!

Speaking of Gulf Coast Florida University, perhaps you noticed the coach's wife in the stands and thought she looked familiar. Here she is on the cover of Maxim magazine in 2003. (Isn't the internet amazing :) )

After their win today he'll get a million dollar raise and be able to dump her for a younger model.

I'll enjoy the top spot for the next few minutes. I should fall to the middle of the pack by the end of the day due to some truly goofy picks in today's games. Unless they're genius picks! What's the number in parentheses next to the championship pick?

I just read this:
Fact of the Day (don't quote me) The odds of picking a perfect bracket randomly are 9,223,372,036,854,775,808 to 1, or more than nine quintillion to one. (So ... you're saying I have a chance ... ):) |
How about them shockers!!! When I played baseball there the basketball team was so bad you could practically sit on the bench with the team during the games.
