Yamakatsu Japanese Baseball Cards
 

Does anyone collect Japanese baseball cards? Specifically Yamakatsu brand from 1978? (They are the heavy stock), full-photo glossy cards.

not really, but speaking Japanese i picked up a 1929 Shoew Japanese Postcard "Babe Ruth"
It looks awesome..need to send in for grading.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but does anyone on the forum collect the Yamakatsu brand Japanese baseball cards from 1978 specifically? I was able to win several (about 20) on eBay last year, but none have surfaced since then.....:rolleyes:

I'm down to just two cards for the 1978 Yamakatsu set:

Shibata
Kinugasa

I do more japanese magazines but run across cards what 2 do you need will see if can track them down.

As listed above, I need the Shibata and Kinugasa cards. From the 1978 Yamakatsu (JY6) set.
