O/T - Appreciation to board members
 

This is way off topic, but maybe Leon will decide it should stay, if it needs to me moved I understand.

Ive been thru a rough patch here lately and member Barry Kahn was there for me every step I needed him...thank you.

We had another rough patch about a year and a half ago and another member, Andy Garden, displayed great compassion and was also there when needed.

I'm not posting for sympathy, compassion or for any other reason than to highlight the word Leon put in the bar up top, community.

This communities has its ups and downs...but w/o this forum I would have never met these folks. I just wanted to share my appreciation for the things these members have done and for other members I'm not naming as that list is long. Maybe if anyone else wants to post it would be nice to highlight a member your appreciative of...its important to see the positives in life.

Thanks for posting Steven. This forum and our hobby has 99% great people in it. Sometimes, in the heat of battle (collecting) we can forget it but it's true. And some of the guys you see on the board that seem to stir up some trouble sometimes are, many times, some of the kindest people you will ever meet. I could name 2-3 members (and I won't) that always seem to cause a commotion, but in reality, those guys are very warm-hearted. The guys you mentioned are great examples and there are hundreds and hundreds more. We are a community and I am honored to be able to help in some small way by directing traffic a little bit. I just want the hobby to be safe and fun for everyone, no matter how, or what, each person collects. All collecting is fun and good. It's a great hobby.
