Can anyone decipher this autograph?

I was roaming around the bay and came across this autograph.
Can anyone venture a guess as to who it is that supposedly signed this baseball?

bigtrain 03-07-2013 12:11 PM

I think that might have been the way Mantle signed when he had a pen between his toes.

GrayGhost 03-07-2013 12:17 PM

Bugs Bunny? looks like two rabbitt ears

JimH5 03-07-2013 12:21 PM

It appears to have been written by an infant who got ahold of a pen and a ball. Who would ever want to display it?

RichardSimon 03-07-2013 12:26 PM

Don't forget it was authenticated by PSA, though I cannot imagine the exemplars they used. I just googled ---- ---- autograph and the exemplars illustrated do not compare very well with the one I posted.

That is the auto of 19th century player John Lovebunny. If you look at the signature, it clearly shows a HEART and then a RABBIT, which is how John always signed. The ball has all of the markings of typical game use from a late 1880's game (such as that blue rectangle-thing), and the pen used is obviously of the period.

Can't believe this one slipped past you, Richard. Guess I'll start sending all of my business to one of the "other guys"...

I shoulda known better to open up a question like this to a bunch of comedians ;):D:p:)

And my last post above was 3000 posts. What gifts are you all sending me? Richard, I'll take a signed cut of Christy Mathewson:)

Sean1125 03-07-2013 12:59 PM

Bo Derek?

RichardSimon 03-07-2013 01:05 PM

Wow,,, never thought anyone would ID this one.
Bo Derek is correct, at least according to the seller and PSA.

Sean1125 03-07-2013 01:07 PM

Not the brightest of the bunch... I think it shows based on her illiteracy.

GrayGhost 03-07-2013 01:21 PM

Whoever it is, its a disgrace. Have some damn pride that you are an athlete and your signature is desired by others.

if Babe, Mickey, Joe, Ty, Lou, Walter and on and on signed like this..THANK GOD FOR ALL OF US they didn't. They carrried themselves with class when signing things.

She's a model/actress.

GrayGhost 03-07-2013 01:43 PM

I know who she is..obviously. I didn't see Richard's identification of her when I made my post.

EvilKing00 03-07-2013 01:48 PM

whoever signed it, sneezed when writing, its possable there is DNA still on the ball, may be the only way to find out is to have the DNA checked.

Explains the undulations in the signature!!

She was one of the WORST ACTRESSES EVER , just like the Kardashian Klan, shows all you need is looks and you can become rich and famous, especially if you are a woman

Runscott 03-07-2013 02:14 PM

I think it's actually a map of the Marne, on either side of Meaux, France.

Maybe Bo's from Meaux?

You think Kardashian looks good:confused:

39special 03-07-2013 04:10 PM

I didn't know she played baseball.

GrayGhost 03-07-2013 07:08 PM

PG Forum, so I'll let that go:p:p

scooter729 03-07-2013 07:42 PM

I thought it seriously looked like some hideous Manny Ramirez signatures I've seen - his autograph is equally as disgusting as this one.

Bo obviously doesn't know penmanship.
