Gotta Have It Auctions

Ran across this auction house and was wondering what the consensus was here / what were members' experiences?

I've heard of them of them before, and would guess the deal in genuine stuff.

Hi Patrick, they are legit, they have a shop in mid-town Manhattan, with some top notch items. They are rather expensive however. For the longest time, they have had a relationship with Mickey Mantles restaurant, and have many things on display there for sale. Good luck!

They've been around for a number of years. While I don't follow them closely and haven't dealt with them personally, by reputation I know they aren't some new fly by night auction house. Simeon Lipman used to work for them, and he's a respected sports memorabilia veteran-- used to work for Lelands and MastroNet and you see him on Antiques Roadshow.

Gotta Have It is Pete Seigel. Pete is big time and a class act all the way. He bought the Ruth bat for close to a million, among many other things. Also a nice guy, and if you're looking for restaurants in NYC, ask him first.
