Dan is a nice guy and has an awesome collection. He had the foresight to aggressively acquire difficult backs (including a BL350 PSA 5 from me!) just before they exploded in value. I am happy for him.

As far as I'm concern, Dan has the most unique partial set on the PSA registry. He has worked on this set for years trying to get the toughest backs he can find. I sold Dan some of these backs years ago. He purchased them at the right time. He has a great collection to be very proud of.

if i remember correctly, i think i sold him some high-grade rare backs too. i used to own that Warhop PSA 4 Drum.

insane set, he has.

Mike,
Your backs collection was unparalleled at the time. Miss those days.

At the national show in Detroit about 1976 or 77 I purchased a lot of T206s for 25 cents each. Included 4 Uzits and one Drum. Not valued at all then. I gave one of the Uzits to a friend! I don't have any idea who it was. Not a HOFer.

Scot- me? if so, thank you very much, that means a lot coming from you!

at one point i had almost every back in either mid-grade or high-grade (many of which were PSA 7, 8, 9). sold them to get into bats...i've been back into T206 for the last few years. it's a love affair, an addiction. :)
