OT: Ebay help please

I have listed a few items on Ebay in auction format. I wanted to make an addition to the description but when I click on revise it takes me to a page and shows my Auctiva rotator(which I don't use anymore) and says error at the bottom. Can we no longer add to the description once the item has bids:confused:

Right once the auction has bids you can't add to the original description. You can do an add on description on the revise page.Had this happen two days ago.

I have been trying to add the revision since shortly after they started. They had bids almost immediately. I called EBay and they said its an issue and they will report it. Now I have a 24-48 hr wait for a reply. Should I end and relist??

If you end an ebay listing that has bids, you will still have to pay final value fees on the high bid for that auction. You get one automatic freebie for this per year where ebay will waive the fee. Therefore, it's better to avoid ending the listing if possible.

A possible work around would be to have somebody send you a question asking for more description. Answer with whatever you want and have the Q part of the listing. Might be better than nothing.

One thing you can do is write what you want to say in a card then take
a picture of it and add it to the auction, since it is possible to add pictures
even if the auction has bids.

Bill and Jose those are bothe great ideas. The issue is I can't even do that. It is all messed up. I am catching issues about COA's and I wanted to say in the auction that "If you need a COA to determine an autograph is authentic then you should do research. There are many fakes with good COA's as well as many good ones without."

Andrew, all you have to do is click on revise your listing and once your at that page scroll down to your description, directly underneath that area you'll see a box and you can add to your description. This way it you won't lose your bids and bidders will be able to see your revisions. Hope that helps. Reguards, Scott:)

That's the issue. I can't do anything to my listings at all.
