What Did You Do During Net54 Outage?
 

As most of you are aware, the Net54 site went down last night. What did you do when this happened?

Site is down
 

I started having withdrawal symptoms. Chills, fever, hands shaking, headache, vomiting. I tried CU forums, Sports Card Forum, and some new card sites that I hadn't tried before, but they didn't help. Can't live without my Net54 fix.

Ya'll are getting better. I only had one email right when the site went down. I was surprised more folks didn't ask me about it. Not that there was anything more I could do, but I too clicked about (more than a few times) to see if it was back up. :)

I checked every other page in my favorites to make sure it wasn't the internet!!!:rolleyes:

I spent more time searching on eBay than I have in a long, long time!

Same thing I do when Net54 is up--I spent time with my family, played with my dogs, made a few phone calls, sent some emails, took a shower...you ought to try it.

Get up the B&L Preview and all will be forgiven.:)

I just took a quick look at other posts you've made, almost all of them have been criticizing. If you don't like people looking and talking about Baseball Cards so much maybe you shouldn't be on a VINTAGE BASEBALL CARD FORUM.

Unfortunately I really did have chills, fever, headache and vomiting. I had no idea that Net54 was down until I read this thread.

I voted "Other", then went to sleep. ;)

I kept clicking on the Net54 link until finally...4hrs later...it started working :)

Ate a bunch of chili, then ate more chili.. Toasted some bread with butter and garlic salt with more chili...went into Net 54 wd's...ate more chil...ugh I hate chili

I kept trying to get in, then i switched from IE to Chrome, and still couldnt get in, so i got pissed and gave up!!

I have a week old daughter who Daddy got to stay up with last night. The site being down definitely made the night longer.

I pretended to watch a movie with my girlfriend, all the while dreaming about what I would post when Net54 came back up. I wrote a computer program to automatically text me when the site comes back up - it even senses when it goes down - so I was completely covered. My dog knew something was up, but she didn't say anything.

The only hint that anything was up, was that I wasn't drinking beer, which my girlfriend found to be strange. I simply didn't want to dull my senses and miss the beep when the site came back up.

Other: I worked on my taxes. :(
