Well-loved Cobb Bat off shoulder

Bought this from our own bbcard1 last summer. Was doing some scanning this weekend and thought it was a pretty enough to post here.

Lots of nice wrinkles and colors and his face still pops off the card -- even after looking like it's survived 1000 miles in bike spokes.

Where have I heard this before...hmmmm ;)

So glad he found a new home that appreciated him. He stood in in my set for better than a year after I picked it up from Marc Del Percio....I have violated what should be the #1 rule of the set builder in the case of Mr. Cobb as I have updated him a second time. Upgrade #1 is in the current Sterling auction.

These are exactly the kinds of cards I like! :D

I apologize in advance

That's a very interesting card. It's such a beater that I didn't even realize Mike Tyson got hold of the lower right corner. Somehow, the card presents rather nicely in my opinion. I dont want to hijack the thread but if anybody else has beaters in this condition but still present this well, post them here and we can have an old fashioned beat off. (Family Guy reference, couldn't resist, sorry.)

Me too. I'd have my palms over it right about now.
