I won two lots... Anyone receive an invoice yet? Once I get mine, I'll post my wins.

The invoices thru Hunts have gotten progessively slower to get to me. I believe they said that they let some staff go was the reason behind that.

No invoice yet here either...

I hardly find not getting an invoice within 24 hours that distressing.
Judging from their website I'm guessing they may not be as automated as some other folks.

I'm guessing the same. Last time I won, I had an invoice around 3pm the following day. I just want to get them payment soon in an attempt to get stuff delivered so I can get it right to SGC for the monthly specials.

This Bliss was in a lot with four other cards and was listed as having a 'print defect.' Well, it's actually a ghost... With a ghost of the adjacent card too. Thanks to Chris Browne for determining that it is Freeman (and providing the overlay image):

So who's ghost is on the right hand side of the card?

The right side is Bliss... so we know (at least for this print run) that Freeman was the card to the left of Bliss.

The eyes of board members continue to amaze me!

I have had Hunt take up to 4/5 days to send an invoice. Like I said, I believe some staff was let go, and the duties of sending out invoices might have fell on some of the administrative staff that is left behind.

I was pretty close to one more bid on it, but decided to let it go.

I had resigned myself to be the under bidder. Then I got knocked out of the raw lot with the Schulte EPDG. Sp when I got up to take out the trash, I decided one more bid wouldn't kill me. Hope the other four grade well.

I was underbidder on some of those T206's. They looked really sharp, but if they are really trimmed like Hunt suggested they were, then the lots basically went too high. Too much of a gamble for me.

I missed out on a handful of items, mostly autographs. I was without a data signal on my cell phone from 9:50 until 10:25, unable to get outbid notifications, and wouldn't you know that all 5 of the lots I was bidding on...I was outbid and the items closed before 10:25. Such is life.

I think a couple of them WERE trimmed (the Herbie Moran comes to mind, it was too short top to bottom) but I also think some of them were not. Still wasn't worth the gamble in my opinion. You're not going to sell Authentic cards for 120$ a pop unless you're Legendary Auctions.


I was the winner of the Schulte EPDG lot Erick, so we traded positions, heh.


I also won a few of the T205 lots with sovereign backs that I need for my T205 Cubs sub set.

I'm not Bobby, I sent my payment in the mail this afternoon. Hopefully everyone else has received theirs as well...

I have not received mine yet. Seems to be an ongoing problem. I will be glad when they get some more help....

Guess they must be a little more responsive after the live auction. Got the invoice, paid, and already received the item!

Finally got an invoice yesterday, and sent the check off today. Not TOO bad I guess.......
