OT:Which Thread has been the most entertaining
I know its only february but we have had some real good posts so far this year. Just wanted to get your thoughts.
Which Thread has been the most entertaining Take your time and think about it cause they are all pretty good. If you havent read all of these please read them before you vote. |
The one where Leon posted a video of him wrestling a PM1 pin. The soundtrack is what made it.

Amongst current threads. I have to say Nun's Wagner.
Personally, my favorite all-time thread(at least since I've been a member), has to be the steaknchop/corned beef hash thread. Probably since it resulted in the clown stalking me on facebook and somehow finding my phone number, which resulted in 2 weeks worth of random hang-up calls.. Not to mention his dad threatening to sue everyone.. Yeah, the calls were annoying, but I found it kinda humorous that we could drive some kid scammer to such a ridiculous point.. |
Nuns Wagner.
All Time, any verbal abuse dished out by Bruce Dorskin. |

All time it has to be Bruce threatening to sue himself (aka Archive).

How can anything beat Bruce threatening to sue himself?
Besides Greg's post about Bruce suggesting he go play in the fire, this was my favorite post. I guess such a serious and accurate response to Bruce had me rolling for some reason. Quote:

This might have to go to Andrew and the Nun's Wagner. BY a mile. maybe not in terms of overall hilarity. But let's face it, but the Archive thread was a one hit wonder..
So far in the last couple of days, the Nun's Wagner has accounted for FIVE different threads on the main page alone(3 regular threads and 2 different polls)... With a grand total of 14,592 views 305 comments so far between them. 4 of which are currently all the top threads almost every time I open the pre-war page.. To me, it says alot that the discussions on this guy haven't dwindled down to just one of them. It's so enjoyable that we all keep going back to all of them. Edited to add: of course, as I was posting this a SIXTH thread about Andrew and the Wagner has now popped up.. |
Some of the "NYC Dinner" threads, from about 5-6 years ago, were pretty classic.
|
As I recall the NYC dinner thread went over 500 posts, and all we were trying to do was set up a time and place for a few of us to have dinner. It was truly incredible.
|
Just finished reading the thread where someone threatened to sue himself...I laughed so hard that I still hurt.
The Andrew threads (collectively) come in at a close second. This is definitely the thread of the year so far, in my opinion. Best Regards, Eric |
I think that when you consider the "Archive" thread in terms of the scope of the poster's board persona up to that time, all others pale in comparison and will. If you are just reading the "Archive" thread for the first time and don't know the foundational bluster leading up to it - it does not have the same impact/irony.

Wasn't that poster banned for a somewhat epic meltdown? I seem to remember reading a thread where he was referring to his, "millionaire friends." I could be wildly mistaken. Now that I have hit, "The Big 4-0," my memory is on an inevitable downward slide...and I am new to this board. Best Regards, Eric |
Eric,
I don't recall the particulars of his exit per se but if you do a search on "rotting little shacks" or "armpit collectors" you should find some entertaining reading. |
