Nice editorial by John Wagner.He has a lot of well deserved praise for Burdick.

Oh, the pitfalls that existed in the hobby back then. Like being "darn near crazy" to fall for the asking price of $2.50 per card! The horror! :eek:

You guys are welcome. I love the history of the hobby. Also, I hope everyone notes that so far, until at least 1940, there were no letters with the numbers to classify the cards...only numbers.
