This Ruth die-cut display was used to promote his candy in the late 1920's. Its stands by itself and is 7 inches high and 4 inches wide at the base.

He was replaced by Babe Ruth. Morgan was a 2nd baseman for the Senators, most famous for a game vs. Babe Ruth, the pitcher. Ruth walked Morgan on four pitches to lead off the game. Ruth was then ejected for arguing balls and strikes. Ernie Shore replaced Ruth. Morgan was caught stealing and Shore retired the next 26 batters in a row. |
