Opinions please...
Just looking for input on a situation please... Recently had a set come in and about 1/3 of the set was curved. The seller said they were not aware it was an issue or would have brought it up.
I was not expecting this and I am going to end up returning the cards (a first for me, half the reason for this post)... Am I in the wrong for not asking about it and then ending up returning them, or is it pretty standard that if 1/3-1/2 a set is not straight you should tell the buyer? I've had many flawless transactions on here where no cards that came in were curved - I consider this to be a very severe flaw, on the level of a crease. Here is an example of what roughly 1/3 of the set has as what I see is an issue http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/...ps911fd981.jpg |
Sean,
That looks like a vending curve to me. The cards were most likely pulled from vending. If you have any that are Ex/Mt or better, let me know. I would love to take them off your hands so you don't have to return them. |
IMO the cards being curved wouldnt bother me at all - just put them in a top loader or a screw down they will be flat again. IMO this isnt a flawed card and wouldnt be a problem for me, but having a crease, mark or being altered would be an issue.

Sean, seems like you buy and flip a lot of cards and so I could see how the curvature might make them less attractive to another buyer.
For me, I keep everything, so it wouldnt bother me much, since a little time/patience could fix that issue. |
