Is it too soon....
... for a new "what's hot, what's not" thread?
I'll start by saying that it looks like at least mid-grade T206s are moving quite well at nice prices, better than most of 2012 so far.... |
Most bread cards are still at 10 yr lows right now. It's a superb time to be collecting them. They are approximately 70% off of their highs of a few years ago...It seems like the T206 freaks and rare backs aren't running out of steam the way I thought they might..Anything early Ruth is doing well...Might be a good time to look at Fro Joys and Babe Ruth Candy again..

N172s seem to be heating up

Thanks for the link. I had no idea that Mother's Cookies made cards that long ago. |

Caramel cards don't seem to be as hot as they once were. But I don't follow them closely so I could be wrong there. Just doesn't seem to be as much mentioned about them as there was a few years ago. Maybe they are due for a bounce back?

T205 miscuts, ghost, and print errors are getting hot. |
Scarce types such as bread cards(already stated...d310, d311...d304) and E cards(E99/E100/Most E cards besides E94, E98, E107) are selling for 10-20% of what they once did...great opportunities all over the place on these such cards...but the question is will they ever rebound?!?!

Some bread for Spiegel83. Not trying to be rude. Just providing reference:

Very nice looking cards. I like oddball cards from all eras. These seem unique and maybe more hard to find than other cards from this era.

Oddball is a term for cards made from companies other than the traditional card companies like Topps or Upper Deck. Cards made by bread companies or cereal companies are examples of odd ball cards. |
