1939 Negro League All-Star photo

This is at a local auction tomorrow. I can't find this image. Does anyone have one to show? Especially the full image, as it appears to be a reprint due to the cropping. But I will check it out anyway. Especially if some of the photo experts think I should. :)
Thanks!

That's a much reproduced photograph, off hand I know it occupies a double page spread in the Ken Burns "Baseball" book and is quite striking for its sharp detail. I'm doing research for a book on Negro League uniforms and that photo was a great help in establishing the ones worn by the NNL in '39. Can't add anything to authentic or not arguement except tread wary, it's probably the most widely reprinted East-West photo out there.

From the picture shown it looks too grainy to be an original. Not enough detail

Are you sure that you aren't thinking of the 1933 game? I have only found one 1939 1st game thus far? AND it was mislabled 1942 :)

Jim:

The one that you posted has been listed on e-bay numerous times over the past several years, all fakes. Some were stated as such, some were listed as originals.

you can buy them in the "antique" wholesale shops in PA for about $3.49 each if you buy 50 or more. Resale certificate saves you the 6% sales tax

Thanks, guys. I went and looked at it and it is definitely not as sharp an image as I thought (I wish I had Jaybirds' eyes!). Looks like a print of a photo of a photo.
