It was to someone :D

This is a perfect example of where the 1/1 craze has taken us. And this may not even be a 1/1.

The buyer has 218 feedbacks with some other items that he/she is currently bidding on. My guess is that this is some form of investment.

yanks12025 01-06-2013 06:42 AM

But how is it 1/1?? I looked up others and they sell 100-150 unsigned and a signed one sold for 250??

Are they different.

What?!!!!!!!

The bidding is fake. He is trying to artificially inflate it before reselling... The sad thing is it probably will work.

This is another "auction" of his...

I avoided a link so no one identically clicked it... You can find it in their completed...

I don't know which is more unbelievable - the price, or the part about Willie being so gracious!

ruth-gehrig 01-06-2013 11:59 AM

Well apparently Willie's memory wasn't correct because here's another one he "wasn't supposed" to sign. Ends in 7 hrs!

Whats funny is the new seller says he got his signed in 2000 and Willie said he would never sign another one. Yet the one that ended couple weeks ago was signed in 2001 and Willie said he had never signed one before. Can't even get their stories straight.

Like I stated before, it probably wasn't a 1/1. But there are several people who buy on ebay who aren't going to do the due dilligence that you did to find out the actual value. It is odd because, even with over 30 bids, there are only two bidders past the $200 level.

Check out the underbidder. Feedback score of 70, with 0% positive (in the last 12 months) and 100% of his bidding activity with this seller. Either he's shilling this guy's stuff, or he's a buyer with deep pockets who came off of a 12-month buying hiatus to bid on 7 of this guy's items ranging from Sports Memorabilia to Posters to Nonfiction Books to Health Supplements
